Things don't always happen on our timing, they just happen when they're supposed to.

We received some wonderful news...we are going to have a baby! We've tried so hard and long for several years. Last year I was on Clomid from February to December hoping to 'get lucky.' In January of this year we decided to take a break so we could regather ourselves mentally and physically. It takes quite a toll on you to try so long with no success. The doctors told us that we were infertile. Really just me, Micah was fine. :) But now appears to be our time (with no medical intervention I might add).

There are two lines. Holy cow. I actually found out with the blood test first since I was on a diet with hCG. I had a strong feeling I was pregnant but the doctors wanted to take two quantitative tests a week apart to compare the numbers and be sure the diet wasn't affecting the test results. It was a couple weeks later that I took the urine test "for fun."
This has given me a real testimony that the Lord is always looking out for us. It was hard to wait at times, but I definitely know why it happened now vs. when we were trying earlier. The almighty is amazing and really does do things on His time, the right time. We are just so thankful that we get the chance to have a child of our own. There was question for awhile that we'd have to find other ways to be parents. We feel so blessed.

We had an ultrasound on Tuesday, 6/30/09. The date they told us to go by is different than the one on the US. We had two different measurements and they say our due date should be around 2/11/10. We are so excited, I can't say that enough. It's sort of surreal still. I read that February is the month with the least amount of babies born in it. (Maybe because there is the least amount of days in the month, but still very interesting.)

We've had the bassinet for awhile. It was like encouragement for us while we were hoping to get pregnant and then just became discouragement. It's been stored away for some time now. When I told Micah that it was for sure after both tests proved what I already knew he pulled it out of storage and set it up in the living room for me. He's so sweet. It fits there perfectly.

Things don't always happen on our timing, they just happen when they're supposed to.

I know the Lord is always watching out for us and you are right things don't always happen when we want them to but the happen when the Lord wants them to.
